- Who is Troy Bless you ask? Troy Bless is a personal assistant to Lil Wayne and manager Cortez Bryant, the backbone of the Young Money imprint. We sat down with him during the I Am Still Music Tour to get a different kind of interview. Troy gives us insight into the less musical side of the company, and what it’s like working with an iconic label. He speaks on his humble beginnings as a promoter, and his evolving relationship with Cortez Bryant which spawned nearly a decade ago. He got in depth with music artists, but it’s really interesting speaking to those working with and around the artists as well because it gives you an alternate perspective that we don’t usually get. The stories, the hard work…music is more than being an artist, and there are so many who play a role and don’t really get recognized for it. Comes with the territory, but why not try to shed some light?
